Previously we analyzed the book and pondered upon the Way. We could see how author managed to show what strategy should be. It was more like we tried to hint at what strategy should be after we discovered the Way.
Dear Fam, the problem I find to be most troubling when reading books like Kamasutra, is that we have to do more than intellectually understand the material we are reading. It’s like imagining world in which Shaggy is micro dosing shrooms and Xanax, but what’s worse, you have to feed it to him. We are in predicament here. Not like that one time Fam when Emma Watson said she applies coconut oil to her beaver to make it extra smooth. We are forced to understand what something is, but is also imperative that we live it. Now, the problem here is that we can’t really be warriors. We can’t really go challenging each other to duels.
However within book, especially in Earth book, we have a notion that not only warriors can find the Way. There are other ways to attain the Way. However, we have to understand that Musashi understood those from his Time and its spirit. Therefore, we lost the only bridge to truly understand him. We can’t be Japanese artisans or warriors. What can we do?
Is this book unusable? Why should people read it in the first place if they knew this? Is there any way to make Wolverine overcome his PTSD?
Fam, sometimes things may look grim. Like that one time when you really masturbated in the shower, crying, while listening to Nightcore. But you know what Fam, it’s going to be all right. Here, you purple apostle grants a blessing +45 on harder blunt hits while listening to vaporwave mixes. We should find a way to understand the Way.
This may sound confusing. However, let’s take a closer look.
We know that we have to understand the Way, while living and acting with firm spirit, applying the Way. Also we know that Way in this sense means Way of strategy. Yet we know that all Ways, lead to the Way. Question time; What is the Way within all Ways?
Something is whispering. As we blindly poke for the light in this issue, we can hear the shimmer of restless being. It pervades anything and so it shall pervade the Way. Before we continue, let’s try to get a sense, feeling of what Way may be.
From the manner material was structured, we can see that Way is something highly difficult to obtain. Way, probably is the final melting of man with his desired calling. From Musashi’s life we can see that he spent years and years fighting numerous duels. After all, Book of five rings is his monumental scripture on fighting strategy. That exactly is the key. Musashi lived as a warrior so his Way is the Way of warrior. However, there are other documents from same period on fighting and strategy. More importantly in same category we have Yagyu Munenori and Sun Tzu even. Yet, they don’t exactly write about the Way.
What could this mean? Bear with me Fam, I know this may look like peaking on an acid trip, but we are almost there. Maybe the problem exactly resides in Way being the height of what we consider the Way. No we know that we must embark on the Way to achieve the Way. What comes in between, when we embark on the Way but haven’t yet achieved the Way?
I find the answer to be in a Serbian Word Пут(Put). Now Пут is something we should refer to. Fam, I strongly believe that language is universal, and is a key to understanding all phenomena in this world. The beauty of language lies within the fact that each nationality, ethnicity or country has its own language. Language isn’t something anciently fixed with presupposed meaning. Language is very much alive as all being is. Certainly, it is one of the most magnificent beings that ever existed.
Пут is something you have to embark on. With Пут, there is a verb in Serbian derived from it. It’s путовати. Roughly, it would translate to English as traveling, but with such translation, its meaning would be an ocean shell never dipped in the salt of primordial water. Путовати means much more than that. It doesn’t refer solely to the change in your geographical position. Verb путовати is similar to the English word journey. However, what separates journey from путовати is the inner meaning and richness of languages from which words are derived. Journey may refer to the inner working of soul. However, both пут and путовати are referring to a deeper meaning. Путовати means that a being itself is embarking not on a specified location, but in a specific way. It means that our being in itself will become subject to change.
For one to achieve what we call in Serbian путовати, he has to know what Пут is. Путовати is a method or a way within our being to find or achieve what Пут is. It isn’t a static action which involves moving. For people to fully do it, they must invest their whole being in it. When man is actively employed in путовати he, at the same time, embarks and practices the Пут.
Пут is the discovery of one’s being. However, Пут has many faces. When I ponder upon it, I see that it leads me somewhere.
In its heart, Пут reminisces in man’s footsteps along the Way. The journey isn’t mandatory for someone to achieve Пут. More importantly it sounds like it is a different kind of traveling. Пут is something to be found. But what can really be found there? Where does it lead? To whom?
Embarking on Пут, man always seem to meet himself.
Is it really leading somewhere? Fam, it’s not like that one time where you harshly listened to “Wait and bleed” and hoped that your mom somehow forget you made an art out of semen using your plush tiger as a canvas. To what it directs? To what it refers?
For it to take form, it has to lead somewhere or to something. In that sense Way of warrior would be translated as Пут ратника and Way of strategy would be translated as Пут стратегије. To what this imply? As we concentrate to hear summer shell-whispers in die-ready birth of winter for spring’s crowning, we see that both Пут and Way have to be “of something”. But within what we know as Пут one has to find himself. Therefore Musashi writes about Way of warrior as a way to achieve the Way. Yet, this still isn’t understandable.
However, Пут shines another light to this matter. Пут requires us to embark on it, but we have to embark on it with something in our hands. It has to lead us somewhere. Yet we can’t access it barehanded. We have to take something on it. When we embark on Пут we have to carry only one thing, which was always with us. Yet we seem to forget it easily. When we embark on Пут we carry our being. Пут in itself, doesn’t mark a geographical location nor a specified point in space. More importantly, Пут can’t be a traveling point. Пут is a state of our being. Пут is what precedes the Way. Way is the final unveiling of highest truth in man’s being. However, Пут is the first and necessary step for finding the Way.
Way can be achieved by following Пут, by following what Пут truly is. Пут is discovery of man’s being which can be achieved through different activities. However, Пут doesn’t simply refer to any activity in which humans can partake. It is in those activities in which man seeks to uncover his being that Пут shines strongly.
Way is man’s being unveiled. Пут is the unveiling of man’s being through certain activity.
There it is Fam, you know your apostle Pablo cares about you. Also Fam, you know how it is, I don’t like this word apostle. To me, it doesn’t sound right. I don’t like being apostle, I love being Apostol.
